This material gets circulated back into your tank and then back through your system. This creates excess wear and potential damage to pumps and valving, reducing the life of equipment. The everyday operation of gearboxes and motors also releases metallic particles into your media (think car engines or gearboxes).

Oil or heavy lubricant that comes from the plant, has come thousands of kM’s from refining facilities on the back of trains, ships and through the facility itself. It’s not unusual for some contaminants to be introduced along the way. High value installations tend to filter the oil before equipment is operational to prevent this introduction and capture contaminants from installation.
